1. Introduction

At Chesshika, we are committed to providing the highest quality chess education through structured online programs led by titled coaches (FM, IM, and GM). This Refund and Cancellation Policy ensures complete transparency regarding all payments made to the academy.

2. No Refund Policy

All fees paid to Chesshika are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. Once a student has enrolled and made payment for any course, training program, or batch, the fees cannot be reversed or refunded.

This includes, but is not limited to, situations involving:

  • Absence or non-attendance by the student
  • Change of personal schedule or other commitments
  • Internet or technical problems on the student’s side
  • Student withdrawal, dissatisfaction, or change of mind

All payments are considered final once made.

3. Class Rescheduling & Replacement (Academy-Initiated Only)

While fees remain non-refundable, Chesshika may, at its discretion, offer rescheduling or replacement classes only in the following circumstances:

  • If a scheduled class is cancelled, postponed, or missed due to academy-side reasons, such as coach unavailability, technical failure, or operational issues.
  • In such cases, make-up classes or replacement sessions will be arranged by the academy management.

👉 Note: Rescheduling or make-up classes will not be provided for student-side absences, personal reasons, or connectivity issues. All such accommodations are subject to academy management’s discretion and schedule availability.

4. Course and Coach Changes

Chesshika reserves the right to modify course schedules, structure, or replace coaches (FM, IM, or GM) when necessary to maintain program quality. Any such internal adjustments do not qualify for a refund or cancellation.

5. Transparency and Consent

By enrolling in any Chesshika course or program, the student and/or parent confirms that:

  • They have read, understood, and accepted this Refund and Cancellation Policy.
  • They agree that all payments made are final, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

This ensures fair, consistent, and transparent practices across all batches and programs.

6. Legal Compliance

This policy complies with applicable Indian consumer protection and e-commerce regulations that allow service-based institutions to define refund terms, provided they are clearly communicated before purchase. All students are informed of this policy before completing payment.
